How much water
should I drink?
Water
is vital to your body’s functions.Drink
a minimum of 64 ounces each day to replenish what your body loses. Some people
may need more than 64 ounces. For details, here are some helpful facts about
hydration.
Is it okay to drink coffee or diet soda?
While
water is best, you can certainly drink zero-calorie beverages like coffee and
diet soda. Regular sodas are full of sugar and empty calories, so definitely
avoid them! If you’re going to drink coffee and diet soda, we recommend decaf.
And for a tasty treat, mix your coffee with NutriSmart Vanilla Cappuccino. It
makes a delicious coffee beverage without adding sugar.
How often should I
eat?
The
NutriSmart Weight Loss Guidelines are based on six small meals per day.
Why do I have to
eat so often?
Have
you ever eaten a big meal then felt exhausted a couple hours later? Eating
larger, less frequent meals causes the body’s blood sugar to spike and
drop. The drop an hour or so after a
meal causes a crash that leaves you feeling exhausted. Smaller, more frequent meals help you
maintain adequate blood sugar levels.
